Vu Linh Farmstay - Hostel

Fantastic homestay, fantastic family. Hue was incredibly helpful and accommodating for the duration of my stay. Such a pleasure to stay in a properly authentic Vietnamese house and share a delicious dinner together

If you want adventure and some peace and quiet this is the place you are looking for! I love the food here, the people are so nice and it was worth traveling 🫶

Een echte local experience bij deze homestay gehad. De familie is ontzettend vriendelijk en je voelt je dan ook meteen welkom. Onze bungalow lag midden in de rijstvelden en had heerlijke bedden. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit en eet vooral ook gezellig mee in de avond. Het eten smaakte fantastisch en de happy water vloeide rijkelijk.

De bungalow is eenvoudig, maar prima. Alleen in de badkamer rook het niet heel fris. Ook is er wat lekkage en schimmel/ vochtplekken.

It was a very upbeat party atmosphere. It would be the perfect spot if you're looking for a drunken night of socialising. Lovely space and nice welcome tea. Water stations and a great hot shower. Breakfast was pancakes/fruit/ eggs/toast buffet and was really lovely.

Be aware the double bed, family room means a mattress in the dormitory. It has a curtain and it is nice and spacious, but it didn't seem clear on the booking ad. Dinner looked incredible for meat eaters. A little lacking for vegetarians, although they did make an omelette which was kind and there were vegetable sides which were okay. If you don't drink or don't want to drink endless shots, I would avoid this homestay. It was an exhausting evening of trying to say no. Brilliant for drinkers - just needs the right audience. No view of the lake - although it is beautiful in its own location this was also in the ad and not there.

Absolutely amazing. Samsung and her family welcomed us to their family dinner (and drinks), we had an unexpected blast with amazing food made purely from ingredients grown/caught in their garden. Also the bungalow and the morning/dusk atmosphere is everything you ever thought a luxurious Vietnam holiday can be.
