RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto

結婚の記念で行きました　スタッフの方もとても親切で　サプライズのケーキなどの手配もバッチリでした　バスルームのシャンプーなどもとってもイイ香りでした　ローラアシュレイのバスアメニティは初めてつかったのですが　とってもよかったです

くしか？ブラシがアメニティにはいっていなかったので　髪の毛を整えられませんでした　そこだけ残念

We stayed at the hotel between 21st to 24th of May, during the stay we were highly disappointed to see the hospitality service quality in the hotel, it felt like we were not guest at the hotel who should be welcomed and made to feel at home, comfortable rather it felt like always being obliged for staying there or like thiefs who would run away without paying, even though full payment was made at arrival. Coming from India , i see a massive difference between the hospitality services offered in hotels there. Here, even for the tinest things they make a huge issue, few such example happend during our stay at this hotel. Our kids who were between 4 to 6 yrs unfortunately without informing us, went into the brekfast area and helped themselves to 3 or 4 pieces of cheese. Yes, we had not opted for breakfast as we are pure vegetarian but, instead of overlooking such a small thing knowing they were kids, the hotel staff Mr. Maeda and Miss. Fukukawa, even on our request and explanation and regretting our kids error made us pay for the cheese by asking 1250 yen.. if this was india, the hotel staff would have given an entire pack for free, without thinking twice. Even the rooms don't have water, you have to self serve yourself by getting it from a common area which every floor has, given the 4/5 equivalent rating of the hotel It is really disheartening to see this. I would ask others to think twice before coming to this hotel.
