The WiFi never worked during my entire stay which was very inconvenient. Every time I went to the desk to speak with staff, no one was ever present to answer my questions. The room had a weird smell when you first walk in.

Wonderful stay

Rooms are not clean at all, when we check in into our room the restroom floor had a bunch of hairs everywhere and hairs close to the night stands.

Unfortunately, there was an electrical fire in the hotel the evening we stayed due to some pool work that had been done that day. Something caused a spark which caused the wood in the ceiling to start smoldering. The staff did a great job waking us up and evacuating the building. We were outside for about an hour and a half before we could go in to get our belongings. We were unable to continue our stay as we had an asthmatic person with us and the smoke was still strong.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights on the 2nd night an electrical fire broke out directly under the window of my hotel room. It was so traumatizing and the smell was awful. All the residents were rushing out some were in towels as they’d just gotten out of the shower. The firefighters were called to put out the fire and the ambulance was called to assist me because I had a panic attack. It was very very scary. The staff were very nice and accommodating and did the best they could to keep everyone happy. They offered to refund everyone who wanted to go to another hotel their money back. Because I booked through Expedia I had to contact them for a refund and they reached out to the hotel manager to confirm the fire. I’m still waiting for the manager of the hotel to call them back. I’m going to call the hotel manager myself on 6/13/2024 and ask her to contact Expedia concerning my refund. However…..Prior to the fire there were two men working on the roof above the swimming pool which was directly below the window of my room. They had the music blasting and when I knocked on the window to get them to turn their music down, they didn’t hear me. I had to go down to the lobby and ask the staff to have the workers turn down the music.

It was not a good experience. The hotel caught on fire and everyone had to evaculate.

Staff was great recovering from an extensive power outage.

The TV didn't work and the carpets were dirty.
