Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charleston

Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Olive Tree Cafe is across the street. Tasty eats.

Great location to highway and restaurants. Hotel room was spacious and seemed like a fairly new hotel. Room was very clean, nice bathroom, comfy beds. Breakfast was just ok. However, we were really pleased with our stay and with Brenda who checked us in. She was so courteous and helpful with info on the local area and provided a list of local restaurants. We plan to make the our hotel destination on our next trip. Very pleasant hotel stay.

Breakfast is good, serves scrambled eggs, sausage, fruits, pancakes, and the usual drinks. Room is clean and well kept, new fridge and microwave oven, has water fountain in fitness center, save money on having to buy bottled water. Plenty of parking spaces, close to interstate, there is a Holiday Inn Express right next door, and is surrounded by small businesses/warehouses and 2 churches.

Bathroom has pocket door, does not close tightly, other than that, it's good place to stay.

If I didn’t wake up thinking a train was about to crash through our room at 3:30 in the morning I would have given the comfort rating 4 or 5 stars. This hotel is literally beside operating train tracks. AC was also loud. Otherwise a great hotel.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Comfortable and clean rooms.

No complaints. Great hotel. Only downside is no pool. But they are very clear on this in the description. You are however, allowed to utilize the neighboring hotel’s pool, but you have to walk across the parking lot to do so.

parking garage gate didn’t work, a pain. terrible hotel signage, very hard to locate. room nice and clean, breakfast nice, but plastic silverware disintegrated in my mouth. was given Marriott points as compensation.
