Extended Stay America Select Suites - Dallas - Richardson

I booked a room and was told it was up stairs with no elevator! I have a handicap and could do the stairs. ( When i paid for my room I ask if I would be able to stay in the same room for duration of my stay and was told I would be able to.) They put when I came back later that night to actually get my room key they had to put in a room in the back to of the hotel on bottom floor as that was supposedly only one left. She was very nice about the hole thing about having to have a bottom floor room. When I came to pay the week again the same man at the front desk was rude and very uncooperative and told me I had to move rooms as they were booked solid and I couldn't stay in my room. His reason was it was a more expensive room and I had reservations for a cheaper room. Advised that I was on my lunch and he said had to be moved by three. Well no offer of help but I did move and hurt myself doing. Kicker was that I had forgotten one important item in the room and didn't release it until Sunday two days after the move. I call and the young man that answered was very helpful. He advised that my room had not been rent out since Friday or cleaned, that he would retrieve my item and I could pick up at lunch time at the front desk. I did retrieve my item and was exactly the way I had left it. My point was you have a person staying for more than 50 days in your Hotel and you treat this badly and no elevator is really not good business. I will think twice about extendig my stay.

The overall facilities, size of room and location were great.

Some of the staff is neither well informed nor polite. The breakfast was almost nothing and room lighting could clearly be better.

Gross and dirty. Pictures speak for themselves. Extra locks on doors are broken so had to put chairs in front of it. This is the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. I’m stuck here until my trip ends but maybe I can save someone else. Just don’t do it. I can’t sleep it’s so unnerving having dried blood a few feet front my bed. Not to mention the baby roaches I’m having to protect my stuff from

Do not stay here. I was accused of having a pit bull in my room. I do not have a dog. The people are incredibly rude. They did not have kitchen utensils and equipment and a light bulb was out. When I returned later in the evening to get the kitchen stuff and the light bulb I was told no because I had a pit bull. Unbelievable. This is an outright lie and they have zero evidence to prove up their insane accusations. The place smells horrible. They told me to leave. I did. This trashy group refuses to refund for the nights I already paid for. Don't risk your money or time and don't put up with the attitude. You'll have a better experience elsewhere. Because of the lie, I am challenging them to prove it. They can't. Second post - It was a big mistake paying in advance for five nights at Extended Stay America – Dallas – Richardson. In my opinion, you stole from me. You did not deliver. Worst place I’ve stayed in 55 years. “Hotel Management” - This incident cannot be explained away. I was discriminated against. While checking into your facility, your front desk accused me of having a pit bull. I don’t have a dog. They didn’t believe me, for some reason. Horrible attitude. “Talk to the manager”; after 10:00 AM? Cameras will disprove your accusations. Show me the video! How can empower your employees to make decisions like this? Explain to the readers why you refuse to refund my advance payment. Your employees told to me to leave. I did. Another nearby hotel was so much more respectful and fun to be around. The rooms were perfect for what I needed. The experience was wonderful. Read that part. You failed; your competitor won. A portion of your pathetic response was “We appreciate your review and will be taking the necessary steps to ensure the issues you described do not occur in the future.” You did not honor any commitment to fairness. You have to know this incident is bizarre and unexplainable, to say the least. Live up to common business sense and refund the advanced payment to me ASAP.

La habitacion estaba sucia, muy sucia.

Staff at front desk were very helpful and understanding. Only complaint is the maintenance man came to our door and was very rude to my wife and was asking questions that I believe is none of his business and not his job to come to our door .

Disgusting. Smell of smoke in the hallways.
