Breakfast was good. Previously I asked for haggis with my breakfast and got it, this time no haggis available.

More little milk pots in our room.

"Great sized room, friendly staff, only slight issue was no antibacterial hand-wash in bathroom."

Short overnight stay for our wedding anniversary, great size room, daughter with us so 2 good sized double beds.

There was no antibacterial handwash in the bathroom, just small bars of soap .sink separated by a door to toilet & bath. No towel holder or rail at sink for after washing hands. Towels were in where toilet & bath are, that was only issue really.

"Striving for Four Stars!"

My wife and I stayed over a couple of nights. Reception staff were friendly and attentive. One issue I had was £20 per night for our dog! £20 per stay is fair enough. Staff are a credit to the hotel, prices are ok too! Our room was basic, furniture dated and tired in places around the hotel. Also need more bins for the dog poo! Meals in the restaurant was very pleasant, we had the Chicken sizzler which the sauce made it. Cocktails were nice also! The breakfast was most disappointing, cold, dried up at times etc Still all in all worth a stay!

"Overall impressive and I would return."

All public rooms are very good. The bedroom was large with excellent decor & overlooking expansive grass to rivers edge. The evening meals were very good. Breakfasts could be improved; some foodstuff and utensils ran out and staff needed to be advised. Also, used plates & utensils accumulated on tables when they could have been cleared.

Breakfast service can be improved. As can selection of items in hot buffet which does not compare favourably to similar facilities in UK & Scotland.
