Botanical Motel

The location was perfect and the room was quiet. The bathroom had been recently renovated however the design of the shower meant that the water went everywhere.

The stay was pleasant enough albeit one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept in. Really need to consider putting more comfort in your mattresses! Restaurant food was delicious and staff were excellent and very friendly

Good clean room with updated bathroom. Quiet location opposite the beautiful Hamilton botanical gardens and walking distance to the Main Street. A couple of negatives include a very uncomfortable bed and the restaurant is not open on Sunday’s.

Warm at night and reasonably secure. Quiet at night which is good. It is a shame staff don't really work or stay there during night which you really notice on a weekend stay. Lack of a shower screen when sharing means a soaking wet bathroom, but we were not really staying in teh room during the day so not a big thing. Cable TV would be nice.

OK but dated electrics need attention. Adjacent botanical gardens best asset

Beds were comfortable, had everything you needed in the room. Nothing to fancy, literally just somewhere to sleep

After many many bookings through Expedia for our frequent travels, this was my most disappointing. The photos listed on the booking site (more than 30 photos) were no way representative of the room we were assigned. The room was so tiny and could not even turn a pram around or open a suitcase. The bedding was clean but the double bed was like a banana with two adults sleeping on it. Rolled into the middle with no support. Wifi never worked. Advised staff and was told they had problems and would restart but didnt come to reception as it seemed the restuarant was priority.

HAMILTON a beautiful town with amazing churches. Location of motel was excellent

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Comfort Inn Botanical while our daughter had an operation. The motel staff were both friendly & welcoming upon arrival. Our room was upgraded when we checked in which was a nice surprise. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Only downside was the heater was very temperamental meaning we couldn’t really use it. The fridge was a little noisy & a bit too small to put anything in. The bed was comfy & inviting with the super warm electric blanket. If we ever needed to stay up that way again we would definitely check in to the Comfort Inn Botanical.
