RIAD DAR LFONOUN

Tra gli aspetti positivi, spiccano sicuramente la gentilezza e la discrezione del personale: Zakaria, che ci ha accolto, è stato estremamente cordiale e disponibile, così come la ragazza che si occupava della colazione, sempre molto dolce e attenta. La colazione, pur semplice, era preparata fresca ogni giorno ed è risultata piacevole. Ottima anche la posizione, a circa otto minuti a piedi da Piazza Jemaa el-Fna e molto vicina al Palais Bahia, quindi comoda per visitare le principali attrazioni della zona.

Struttura decisamente trascurata e poco curata. Le porte sono vecchie con chiusure a lucchetto, i bagni minuscoli e scomodi (fare la doccia allaga tutto), lavandino piccolissimo e terrazza in cattive condizioni. L’arredamento è vecchio e poco accogliente, con pareti scure e un ambiente spoglio: c’è solo l’indispensabile minimo, senza armadio, anche se il letto è abbastanza comodo. In cinque giorni la camera non è mai stata pulita e la carta igienica veniva fornita solo su richiesta. Non sono presenti servizi basilari come l’asciugacapelli e viene fornito solo un piccolo campioncino di bagnoschiuma già aperto e utilizzato. Inoltre, considerando il prezzo pagato, non proprio basso, ci si aspettava una qualità decisamente superiore. La struttura è difficile da trovare la prima volta perché molto nascosta, ma questo è abbastanza normale a Marrakech

I liked, that the location was in Medina and not far from the main square. It was walkable distance to all main places. Breakfast was edible (every day the same) and it was possible to use the terrace. Inside of the riad was pleasant. Employees were polite and spoke different languages. Easy to communicate.

I didn´t like, that my room´s window was broken and even one of the employees told, that he will repair it as soon as possible, it didn´t happen during my stay. There were strange flies in my room and after few days, my floor was covered with dead flies and other insects. I was wondering if there was some kind of poison put into my room and I breathed it in all this time? Also I asked if I can get an early breakfast for two days when I had tours planned, and it was promised, that it can be arranged. On these mornings I discovered, that nothing was arranged and I had to go to tour without the breakfast. I was there for 4 nights and during that time my room wasn´t cleaned or I didn ´t even get the new towel. During the night, if someone came to check-in, I heard everything and couldn´t sleep. My room´s door had a padlock for closing the door from outside and inside. It was a bit uncomfortable, that it can be closed easily from outside if I am inside my room. The streets to the riad were little bit scary in the night times, but it was safe to walk there. It can be hard to find this place if you don´t have google maps. There is no sign outside for this accommodation.

Zakaria is super nice and helpful. Location was good and in a safe area.

It was very dirty and very small. The bathroom very small, very dirty and the shower curtain had mold on it. You can close the main room door but if I push it a little harder it could break (not the safest). It has a mirror but you have to bend so it’s useless and uncomfortable. The wall is falling down.

Bhe il rapporto qualità/prezzo c'è sicuramente senza dubbio. Non vi aspettate un riad di lusso ma molto economico per 40 euro a notte non vi aspettate chissa che cosa. La camera essaouira era molto carina e indispensabile .. il letto molto comodo devo dire ; c'è il minimo dei servizi per stare tranquilli . Ripeto non vi aspettate di chissa che cosa ; la porta è da rimettere e si chiude con un lucchetto nemmeno con una chiave.

Bhe secondo me è da ristrutturare completamente ha bisogno di un tocco piu chick.

This is a fantastic Riad, run by wonderful, attentive, personable staff who literally can not help you enough. It offers great value for money in comparison to other Riads in Marrakesh. The rooms are small but comfortable with a nice, big, comfortable bed and an area to sit. The bathroom is also quite small but works perfectly. Breakfast is really good, more than enough food to keep you going whilst exploring. The Riad hasn't been made into a boutique Ruad like others in the area, hence its reasonable price. It has retained lots of its original charm and character. Definitely recommend.

Pleasant staff, easy arrangement for key handover, they speak good English, very quiet despite a very good location in the center of the medina, beautiful terrace. Thank you.

I had a single room at the very bottom of the Riad. The room was dark and very humid. There were mosquitoes everywhere and mold in the bathroom. The bed was stretched out and quite uncomfortable. There were even mosquitoes here. The other rooms are probably better, but I rate this one at the bottom poorly.
