City Central Motel Apartments

Wir hatten 4 Nächte im Motel gebucht, wir ein Fahrzeug übernehmen wollten. Die Unterkunft war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Toaster, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und ein sauberer Wasserkocher waren vorhanden; Besteck und Geschirr ebenso. Das Motel liegt knapp 1 km von der Kathedrale entfernt und einen guten km vom Bus-Interchange (Colombo St/Tuam St). Von dort aus kann man zum Airport, zur Gondola und nach Lyttelton fahren (Linie 8). Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln

We enjoyed our stay at City central. The manager and staff were very accommodating with any requests and super friendly. Our room was clean and all amenities worked well. Only a short walk into the main area of Christchurch and with the new stadium opening it will become a great place to stay.

We found everything OK

At a great value, the room with a small full kitchen and a small clean bathroom was very spacious. Wifi worked great. Staff was friendly. One can leave luggage before and after the stay. Location is not too loud and within a walking distance to the center.

In a very unorthodox way, the pillows on the bed didn’t have white clean pillow cases, but instead only blue thick decorative cases. I had to use a towel to sleep on them. In a morning, the host said that the pillows with the clean white cases are located in the room´s wardrobe. The walls are thin, if one gets a loud neighbor. No kettle in the room, but there is microwave.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location near downtown was excellent. Good value for the price. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Glass doors and windows definitely not double glazed though and traffic was very noisy so difficult to get any decent sleep without earplugs

It's locally close to town, attractions, shops. Room was large enough.

The bathroom door needs replacing as was hard to close. Curtain near main door was rip at the bottom.
