"Great stay."

We selected the Pouaki deal which included two nights accomodation, breakfasts and a packed lunch for our hike. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Lo action was perfect for us as we could walk everywhere. Breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard as was the service.

Always a good stay at the Plymouth International - the only real let down this time was the windows which did a really poor job of keeping the room quiet on a particularly rainy/windy night. Staff were excellent as always.

POO IN THE SPA!!! Not very good on this trip. Drunk customers fighting at night. Broken glass pool side which we picked up and took to reception. Faeces in the spa pool which we scooped out believing it was a leaf! Very traumatic. We reported this to reception. The spa was not cleaned out and we were not thanked for bringing this to staff attention. We enjoyed our past stay here and the location is great, but I don’t appreciate swimming with faeces

"Excellent"

The property is starting to show its age in places, but is excellent value. Can be a bit noisy in the hallways with doors banging and guests coming and going. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but great selection of pillows and quality bedding. Opening windows helped let the breeze in, which offset the slight mustiness. Newish heat pumps and updated lighting. Lovely staff.

The service was exceptional and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay effortless.Nice spacious room and very clean and comfortable. Will recommend this hotel to everyone travelling to New Plymouth in the future. Will certainly stay again.
