When the property owner of the tiny house I had reserved months in advance was a no-show, Sonesta Suites offered at the last moment a room with a full-sized refrigerator and functional kitchen.

My mattress was way too soft. Between the mattress, the general stress of travel and my weightlifting competition, I had back pain. I tried sleeping on my exercise mat on the floor. That was no good. So I suffered the soft mattress.
