Extended Stay America Suites - Chicago - Buffalo Grove - Deerfield

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I had an issue with my original room (the smoke detector was beeping) so they immediately moved me to another room. The location is excellent as there are many restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance .

The grab and go breakfast was only okay. Not much selection. I would have liked more protein The coffee maker they provided didn't include coffee pods so I had to buy coffee. I didn't know that ahead of time.

Everybody on the staff in Buffalo Grove are very helpful and accommodating. Marc the new GM is Fantastic! He’s very friendly and helpful.

Horrible horrible staff ( except for the wonderful cleaning lady). Do not stay here. If I was here with my family and experienced what I did with the front desk staff, Tim, I would’ve left. The guy gives me bad card keys and I let him know and then he starts to demean me and mock me in front of other customers. I’m no Patsy, so I let him have it right back. Do not stay here if you have children, elderly, or disabled. I cannot imagine the abuse they would receive. While waiting over 2 1/2 hours from my room, I saw how he treated other guests when they came. Completely terrible. I’ve already reached out to corporate. I was supposed to stay here for five nights, I’m out of here first thing in the morning.

We did not stay as the staff tried to insist we hadn't paid in advance and the facility was run down and dirty.

Rude staff, dirty, unsafe surroundings.
