Hallways smelled like cigarettes & dogs, stains on the carpet, and the was tub stained. I departed after a couple of hours

I don't believe this property offered breakfast.Or at least it wasn't mentioned or offered to me.I stayed in Southfield, Michigan. The location was a good location with the property needs, updates and renovations badly. I was surprised to see that in that area. But what I did enjoy was the staff that I was checked in by. I spok.\nE to the young lady who checked me in before I arrived.She gave good instruction and made me aware of policies that I was not also as she checked me in she what's quite a polite and informative. And best of all , when I left some items at the hotel , she secured them for me and was able to identify me by name when I came to retrieve them before I even spoke up.

I was just like to see renovations done and updates in the facility namely the lobby/desk and rooms with a little more detail to cleaning and maintaining the room and appliances.
