Extended Stay America Suites - Asheville - Tunnel Rd

We had a room that was plenty large enough and the bed was comfortable.

The room was not very clean when we first checked in. (bed crumpled, refrigerator dirty, surfaces were sticky, bathroom mirror was splattered and the tub might have been rinsed), but it would not drain properly. While showering the water accumulated over 4 inches and took over a hour to drain. It was our fault for not investigating fully how an extended hotel's housekeeping worked. It was not mentioned at all at check in and when we asked for clean linens, at times they were not availale because they were laundered at night and none ready at the time. Your survey and booking information options for reason for traveling needs to include "Medical". We are here because my great grandson has Leukemia and developed a very life threatening infection requiring months of in patient care. It certainly is not work or leisure.

Very clean and had what we needed for our stay. Front desk staff are all helpful and friendly. The location is super convenient to everything we wanted to do in Asheville for the week, and the best price I found.

The breakfast is just coffee and oatmeal. Not a real breakfast.

The entrance of the parking is quite dark, it should have at least a low light on the walls close to the Hotel sign to not disturbe the wildlife but to help the people like me that had to walk back at night from work.
