Extended Stay America Suites - Wilmington - New Centre Drive

My wife and I left our accommodation two hours after we checked in when the Wilmington Police came in two police cars to handle what was a "potentially" dangerous situation. We will never make a reservation at "Extended Stay" again!

Booking.com should be aware of hotels that are located in areas that service unstable customers. We did not feel safe at Extended Stay Wilmington when we saw the police were called to control an unstable clientele and left at 8:00 pm.

My wife and I have been here for a while as long-term guests and are very well pleased. Tracy, the manager, runs a tight ship which we appreciate. She and all of the other staff (Dominique, Marquis, Asa, Bobby, etc.) are friendly, personal, and always willing to assist with any issues. They recently installed new beds, mattresses, and 4k televisions in all of the rooms. The hotel is in a great safe location very close to stores, dining, and only 15-minutes from Wrightsville Beach. My biggest complaint is guests smoking. All of the rooms are non-smoking, so it is dealt with swiftly when reported. There are signs about no smoking within 100 feet of an entrance. The entire property is within 100 feet of an entrance, but I understand that it's difficult to regulate people smoking in the parking lot or in their own vehicles, even though the scent may occasionally waft into a room or be present when walking to an entrance.

What breakfast?

There was hair on the counter in the bathroom for one there were people smoking right by the door as you walk in after we got to the room we noticed that we needed a pan to cook with,we where told that they don't have anymore.

It was close to shopping

The bed was extremely hard.

Great staff great place to stay close to everything they just put in new beds and tvs room was clean and comfortable Love this place

The staff was very pleasent. Hotel is in a central city location.

The continental breakfast could have been much better.
