Americas Best Value Inn & Suites-Alvin/Houston

I have returned to this same hotel over the years many times. The staff is always friendly and make it a great stay. Management takes great care of the rooms, and upgraded the furniture, including larger refrigerator and a kitchenette. I love it!

Humidity of the area, but that can't be helped.

Safe location, clean rooms, friendly staff, great pool. Breakfast was lacking. Bathroom sink and shower fixtures are loose. Sealant around shower bar looks like someone sealed over mold/mildew.

I feel i was deceived by the high ratings. 1st room had urine in the toilet when we arrived. We were moved 2 doors down. In both rooms, the toilet seat was up. Yuck! Bed was lumpy, sheets were pilled. Tub was painted?!? And peeling. But it was cleaner than the 1st room. I would not stay there again

They are pet friendly, for a price, unless it's a service animal. I had to have 2 rooms for 5 people. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was all carbs: toast/bagels, waffles, and snack cakes. The pool was pretty good but small. They did have pool towels to use. The shower pressure was great but not very warm.
