SpringHill Suites Dallas Arlington North

Probably the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in, and I'm a Lifetime Platinum Elite member. For starters, there was a bunch of slippery muck an inch or two deep throughout the parking lot (see photos). It should have been cleaned out. I'm sure people had to be tracking it into the hotel. Next, there wasn't a working ice machine anywhere in the hotel. The receptionist on Sunday morning, Dec. 28, insisted that the one on the first floor was working, but I checked it for a second time and it wasn't dispensing any ice. On the second floor, there is an arrow pointing to an ice machine somewhere down the hall, but no one could ever find it. The one on the third floor was broken, too. Third, the trashcans were all filled past capacity. (See photos.) Our room was fine, and the breakfast was good. So, there's that. Mainly, it was all that yucky muck that was waiting for you as soon as you stepped out of your car. Marriott is my favorite hotel brand, so maybe I was spoiled by previous stays at other locations. I'll certainly be back, just not to this location.

Everything!!! The staff is amazing and took very good care of my family while in town. We have stayed in higher end hotels and only felt like a number. This staff made us feel like family, very engaging even greeting family members in the morning. Some of the staff even remembered my family from our stay a year ago.

Probably the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in They put us directly above the lobby, next to the supply closet and across from the elevator. We could hear the lobby music all night. Housekeeping slammed the closet door all morning long.
