Extended Stay America Select Suites - Salt Lake City - Union Park

Parking was awful. exterior of building poorly kept. Trash was a plenty. Only door available for use was the front door. After 10 pm, the only was in was to alert the staff to let you in. I checked out of the motel 6 days early and moved to a different motel. I will not stay here again.

Room wasnt clean, entire floor smelled like smoke. The entire hotel was dirty.

Excellent stay in SLC are, clean rooms, amenities working well, no smelly environment. Walk in distance to dining, shopping and entertainment. Will stay again

Showed up to check in and unfortunately there was no one there. Had to find a different place to stay.

The property lobby smelled like cigarettes. The cleaning staff wasn’t in uniform or the check in person. It seemed very run down. The cleanliness left much to be desired. Specially in the bathroom. The shower had a hair and debris from poorly scrubbing and/or wiping it down. The water had a terrible smell and the bathroom drain sink did as well. The faucet had hair around it like after a man shaves his face. When we were checking out another client was complaining about mold in her shower. I would not recommend this place and am hesitant to stay at any of their other properties.

There was no toilet paper in my room and the lady at the front desk was kind of ornery

This is an affordable no-fuss hotel in a convenient location, at the base of Big Cottonwood canyon and 15 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. I stayed here for an extended period of time due to work demands, and found it to be comfortable, pleasant and welcoming. The staff are excellent and do their best to make sure that everything is in working order. Many thanks to Gale, Tiffany, Paul and the janitorial staff for making me feel welcome. I had no significant issues with my room during my stay, and minor ones were taken care of quickly after making a single call. The views from my room were spectacular, with the Uintas framing colorful sunsets, Antelope Island across the lake and skyline lights twinkling in the distance. The kitchen was well-appointed, with everything I needed to make healthy food and grocery stores nearby. Breakfast used to be provided here, but I witnessed unscrupulous guests take handfuls of bars and fill their thermoses with coffee, so this amenity became cost prohibitive. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again

I had checked in my room and dropped of my belongings. When i returned my key didn't work.
