Quality Inn & Suites York East

Basic finish, looks tired can do with an uplift. Breakfast was basic, limited selection but good. Disappointed with no late check-out option (even against a fee) or basic luggage room - needed this for a couple of hours.

Do not stay at this hotel !! My room was disgusting and smelled like stale cigarettes. There was stains all over the furniture. The bathroom had dead bugs on the ceiling. Multiple electrical outlets were dusty and loose on the wall. Stay away from this place. Choice hotels should be ashamed to have this dump on their roster.

The stay was very unpleasant. The room had an unpleasant odor, the ceiling had large water leak stains, the room walls were dirty as well as under the sink in the bathroom. Bath towels were too small and were in just ok condition. My reservation was made through Booking .Com and when errors were found, I was told to contact Booking, who in turn confirmed the correct information to me. I showed the front staff a copy of my confirmation. Booking .Com contacted the hotel and was told I made 2 reservations..one for 2 days through Booking and one through Priceline for several other days.That information was absolutely incorrect. The front staff was told of the errors, but didn't help or care. I stayed for the 2 days and found another hotel in the area. The refrigerator was sitting on what looked like a coat hanger...

This hotel was booked FOR me through a group event. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have any hot water. The woman who checked me in did inform me that it would be fixed in the next hour and a half, but it was not. The room was small, definitely more of a motel vibe. There were issues with the rooms within my group (hair in the sheets, mold in bathroom, etc.) my room was overall fine. However it definitely did not feel secure given the area and other clientele. I go to check out early to switch hotels since I am a woman by myself in a sketchy place, I did not feel safe. Also I had found a hair in my eggs while eating breakfast. I was going to suck it up, but that was the last straw. The man at the front desk tells me “there were no hairs”, pretty much calling me a liar, even when showing him a picture he says “maybe one hair”. No apology, no asking how they can do better, checks me out and shoves my receipt at me saying “whatever”. Just completely a lack of professionalism and the rudest I’ve been treated by anyone is customer service.
