Over all we had an excellent stay. Room was clean, hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Only issues we had were the key cards worked very poorly, the bathroom door wouldn't shut in our room, the air conditioner wouldn't get as cool as we liked, and the elevator broke down for a day. Otherwise, it was an excellent hotel at a great rate and we appreciated being close to Walmart and a beautiful city park.

I had an excellent experience with Holiday Inn. Whatever I needed, the staff provided. Most of the staff spoke English, not fluent, but at a level that was acceptable. Housekeeping was very understandable of my needs. They made the room just like my own room. The location was excellent. It was located in Zhongzhou. People were friendly and were willing to help with problems and issues. I had a wonderful with this trip in Zhengzhou and with the hotel.

This hotel was nice and clean, meeting American standards. The lavender pillows are a plus, and the staff was attentive and helpful. The gym was reasonably well equipped . Some cons to watch for are the breakfast buffet was 200rmb, so if you want breakfast be prepared to add thirty usd to your room tab. The rooms also lack any wireless Internet, which for international travelers can be a big drag as wireless roaming is quite expensive. In all a nice place, but has fewer included amenities than its competitors.

The hotel is in a busy area close to park. Option of restaurants available in close range. Only negative is the expensive breakfast 210 RMB, so would suggest getting the prepaid option when booking.

the hotel was very accomadating. helped with questions when nessary. they have an association with the high level hotel on the frount of the compound. resturant was between good and excelent. very friendly. very helpful. All in all the hotel experience was excelent!!! I had gon to china to meet my future bride (which turned out wonderful) and the hotel was very accomadating to her also. I have traveled extensively through my life and in the usa I wont stay in a holiday in unless I know the hotel or an associate has been there before and gives it an ok. but I find that most out of usa (at least till they get older hahaha) are very nice.......Bill

We loved this elegant and quiet hotel, especially the friendly staff and the fantastic buffet breakfasts (every kind of western foods and many eastern). It was in a quiet spot, right on a canal, with its parks and walking track , and another huge park in the next street. As well it was adjacent to the busy streets of food stalls, cheap restaurants, small shops and markets, and very close to bus stops. A short walk to the Shang dynasty (16th century BC) town walls and not far to city centre. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, and good value, and gym & pool great; our only problem was cost of laundry, but we found a laundry in the market street, very close to hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
