Best Western Bend North

I received a call to my room regarding my service animal. I declared it with Priceline. I declared it with the front desk. He introduced himself as the GM and said very rudely, “we are not pet friendly.” I explained I had taken care of it when I checked in, filled out the paperwork and also offered to send them all of my service dog requirement paperwork via email. The person who checked me in said not necessary. He was so incredibly rude I was in tears by the time he was done. I explained she was a service animal and he proceeded to ask what for. Although I doNOT need to disclose, I answered the question because there is nothing to hide. I asked for his name and he said he was the GM. I told him perfect, I’ll put it in my review. He then told me (and my two kids), “do you have a problem? And said I could come down to the front desk so he could escort me out. Absolutely the most mortifying experience I have ever had. If I hadn’t booked through a 3rd party, I would have left in the middle of my stay. I will never, ever book here again. I also saw him being incredibly rude with another guest earlier in the day, but brushed it as him having a bad day and even joked with him about it. Turns out this is his baseline. Truly still horrified. Do not book here if you would like to be treated with kindness.

My concern is the cleaning crew and maintenance. Room#304 1. Shower door doesn’t close so it’s ruining a lot of bathroom fixtures including the wall. The switch for the bathroom needs to be fixed so you don’t have dirt buildup behind the plate. Shower floor and outside of the door is a simple fix with a Mr. Clean sponge. 2. Ice bucket was full of last visitors ice. 3. Dusting why didn’t that happen? 4. Coffee spilt from prior guest back of the door cleaning crew obviously doesn’t clean behind the door. 5. The bed is in the worst shape ever. Completely sags in the middle, it’s past the mattress’s life. REPLACE IT….

Typisch amerikanisches Hotel/Motel. Nichts spezielles, für eine Nacht auf jeden Fall ok.

The breakfast was awesome.

The hot tub had strange things floating in it.
