Rodeway Inn Brookville

It’s just quite old. The plumbing was a bit challenging to use. Nice and friendly staff. Clean enough. Comfortable enough.

Where to begin...stayed here on Tuesday 07/26/23. Pulled up, people drinking in parking lot. Parking lot and premises were filthy. Check-in went fine and the clerk was nice. Entire building smells of mold and filth. Stains everywhere. Facade was crumbling. Room was worse. The smell of 20 years of stale cigarettes and dirt were heavy. 1st floor room and sliding door didnt lock. Hairs in the bed and pillows were stained light brown. Dirt and debris throughout the room. One neighbor had people in and out of their room all night long, the other seemed to live there and enjoy yelling at his barking dog. Left in the morning as soon as possible. Would NOT recommend.

Good place to stay!

I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but I couldn't ask for a better experience for the price clean room comfortable bed decent breakfast and friendly staff. Bring them up it is also conveniently located near freeway restaurants and stores

This hotel was not what I expected. The condition of the outside of the hotel, the sidewalks, and the area around the entrance almost made me reconsider staying at this location. The room itself was better. Overall, it seemed clean and was actually very quiet. The breakfast bar was a big disappointment. Very few options were available. The microwave was out of order. There was no juice, only coffee and hot water. There was milk for the cereal that we ended up drinking. It seemed like the person at the front desk was also responsible for stocking the breakfast bar, so things were running out and he didn't notice. Also, the restroom in the lobby area was not working. There was a hallway from the breakfast area into the area where the rooms were located. This hallway seemed like it had become a catchall for "stuff." No way would I stay in this place again.

The duvet covers and bed sheets were dirty in both rooms. The toilet in one room was also not fully cleaned.

Rodeway was pretty good. The room was pretty clean. They even made the bed after the first night. Was bug free but the vuilding clould use some structural repairs and god knows who put the ceiling in on the room that i was in.

very convenient place

When I arrived, they said they were not able to make keys for the guests, so whenever I needed to get in my room the front desk would have to open it for me. I asked to see the room and found the air conditioner wasn't working. He took me to another room and the water in the bath would not shut all the way off. Because of these problems he told me I could cancel at no charge, which I did, and stayed at their competitor down the street. In fairness the clerk was very nice and apologetic about the situation. The staff was fine, but the facility itself is awful!
