Convenient location for what we needed

It was dirty, the shower faucet was leaking. Told people at the front desk if they can check on it. Nobody did so our room was flooded and steamed up. There were little aunts all over the bathroom floor in the morning. It was disgusting!

Easy to find, lots of parking, bed was awesome, room was clean

Couldn’t find the thermostat and cold air was blowing, once I was in bed it was fine, uncomfortably cold outside the bed covers.

There was no elevator, we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs.

Stained bed linen, building in poor shape , staff at check in not pleasant. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

The pool water was very warm, it was surprisingly warm. The room was big and comfortable.

No towels at the pool, you had to sign them out at the front desk. It was just awkward. The hotel is showing it's age, most likely the reason that the cost is lower than other hotels.

Washroom not cleaned at all! Black long hairs on toilet seat and same hairs in shower and additional short hairs from shaving all over. I complained about it next morning at the check-out and wanted to talk to the manager. I was told he is not available, but will get back to me and make a decision about discount or even complete refund and I won't get charged until decision is made. Result: No-one get back to us ever and the full amount was charged without even any discount!! Now I called in today and talked to the manager and I made clear to him that he has obviously not only a problem with his cleaning stuff, but also with the front desk staff, which is not able to bring a complaint like this to his attention. His final offer was a 15% discount for the inconvenience, which is a JOKE from my perspective. However, he insisted that the 15% is the very best what he could do for me!?? So obviously the management is the 3rd weak link in the row of the staff there. I told him that I'll find out who the owner is to bring it to their attention and hope the have a better understanding for how proper service looks like. For us: Never ever again at RAMADA in Coquitlam! You get better and cleaner service for less $$ at any AirBnB. Note: The hotel is in general very old and outdated and didn't see any major update for long time. However, there is no excuse for having dirty rooms even though they are old - just disgusting!
