What ruined the whole experience is they required security deposit ONLY from physical credit card which their machine only accepts. I had cash, debit cards and mobile wallet but none of them accepted. I was solo female tourist just landed on the Canada for the first-time, reached the hotel around 12am, and front desk keep insisting I need pay deposit by physical credit card and no other options for me. Felt really helpless as in nowhere to go at that night time. After sometime they allowed the stay with cash deposit of 300 cad. It's beyond my understanding how these people expecting every human to carry credit cards (For Canadians I can understand since their finance mostly based on cc score) including tourists around the world. But the funny thing is they were able to pre-authorize my debit card before I reach, for the security deposit all this physical cc drama.

I stayed in this hotel for more than a week for a business in Toronto area. It was a good price during my search for a place to stay. When I finally went to the hotel, it was decent in the lobby area. But upon entering the room, I could smell a bleached smelling room. The furnitures are a bit rundown, cabinet doors are not closing properly. The in-room ref. would have water drips, the curtain has some stains and does not move smoothly on its tracks. The ceiling has some marks of black molds and sign of wet drips. The upholstered chair has some ironed marks and looks uncleaned. The room size is decent, the bed is good for a night's rest. The room is decently cleaned, washroom has the towels changed in a few days if you use them. They never changed my bed sheet even after being there for more than 6 days. I had my card swiped in the beginning of my stay as a security deposit. They said that it will be released after checkout. However, after close to 3 weeks my credit card was charged with $9 and now I am no longer in that area to dispute this and question what this extra charge was? During my stay, most of the people on the front desk are just busy if there are customers checking in and would then disappear to the back room if there are no check in clients. They never really made effort to interact with clients or customer service to address any needs of the customers.

I liked the room and the location od the hotel.

It was a good hotel, my only issue was thats only one elevator was working and it had a nad odor that was there our entire stay.

Quiet

The room was big and the bed very comfortable. The washroom had a large counter space which I also appreciated.

The air conditioner in the room was very loud and kept me awake.
