The Hotel is good, room were nice and clean and had kitchenette that gave us an added advantage, all in all a good stay, Just be mindful that Lifts are under maintenance.

Surrounding Area is like a ghost town. Few shops or restaurants nearby. Restaurant in hotel only has breakfast buffet. Food was good! Half hour walk across river to Parliament.

Rooms were nice. Room rate could not be beat. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Issues were with door keys not working, sign in elevator said “we’ve been having troubles with elevator” which is scary when on the top floor, several stalls in ladies lobby bathroom not functioning, other guests were littering the front entrance with empty coffee cups, spilled milkshakes, cigarette butts. Not enough staff on to maintain lobby. Pool was closed for weeks but this was not advertised. This was something we used as a determining factor on where to stay. Are to the north of hotel was a bit sketchy.

Surprised about how nice room was. Easy parking ($14) and ok walk over to Ottawa downtown. Worked well for a few nights.
