"Old Reliable, with a few changes along the way"

I've stayed at this location several times through the years. The price has always been on point, given the amenities offered. It appeared they had completed some renovations since our last stay, updating the rooms a bit, which was a plus. The lobby bar "Jake's" is also a great time killer in the evening in not having to have a designated driver or get an Uber to get back to the room. All of the staff we interacted with were very courteous and provided any assistance needed. We will no doubt be back, of not just for sake of tradition.

We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open and not disclosed on the website. That was one of the reasons we chose and typically stay here on our little overnight staycations. It didn't make or break our evening... it was just a slight disappointment. The breakfast selection has also decreased since our last stay, turning into more of a continental style. I will say, at least it did still have biscuits / sausage gravy and a waffle maker... to have something warm. It used to have a more traditional homestyle selection, but understanding the potential compromise of current costs to keep a very affordable rate of stay.

Location and the attached bar and banquet hall.room setup.

Room air was not working very uncomfortable and the TVs had no remotes and weren't programmed. When I asked for help the young lady was very nonchalant and took no urgency in resolving the matter.

"Yeah unless your homeless don’t come here"

Check in was easy and fast employees were nice

If you ever wanted to pay money to sleep a homeless shelter this is your place! Tv? Yeah that don’t work, bed bugs?? By the dozen, ac? Yeah straight up mold you can smell soon as you open the door, prepare yourself for a hell of a cough. Yeah last time I ever get a random cheap hotel for work…
