Room was comfortable and nostalgic. Brunch on Saturday at onsite restaraunt was delicious. Location is very close to ISU campus

Great place to stay in Ames. Nice breakfast and great pool, hot tub and sauna. Easy to get to Iowa State and Provisions restaurant.

Room was clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, for the price I paid it would have been nicer if our room was tidied up each day. We had to request clean towels which were brought to our room while we were away, which was great. But none of the of the overflowing waste baskets were emptied. Service in the dining room was exceedingly slow, as well.

We were in town for a college tour and stayed at this hotel for proximity to campus. Staff was so friendly! We at breakfast at the hotel restaurant - delicious! We also ordered dinner to go and it did not disappoint.

The Good: It's located in a great spot, close to everything. We were able to walk to Jack Trice in less than 20 mins. There are also good restaurants nearby. The Bad: The beds are incredibly uncomfortable and the on site restaurant and bar are average at best. I wish they would rehab the aforementioned because it could be cool.
