It looks old, dirty, and just not a good hotel experience. The floor in the room had an iron burn on it, the walls were dirty, the bathroom was like a dungeon. And there was a note in the room asking for tips from the cleaning staff. All just a really low class experience. Breakfast and coffee were both old and cold.

Location location location,one of the worst experiences at a hotel in Plattsburgh NY,new management.The manager has no experience dealing with any and all aspects of running a hotel. .No hot water for 8 days and they kept moving me to different rooms on different floors which did not fix the hot water problem.I was told I could shower in the pool area showers which were filthy and also had no hot water Windham thought that giving me 7500 points would make up for the hot water issues.i spent over $2,000 with this Days inn and had to shower at the gym, also had to do laundry off site because their washing machines agitator is broken and just like the La Quinta the management just lets people dump money into these broken washing machines and not say a word to it's guests and not out an "out of order" sign.I also had to change my debit card and cancel a credit card because the front desk kept on charging my cards and denying it was happening, the charges were apparently for incidentals which I had paid when checking in. Regardless when this happens the amount they charge is put on hold and makes those funds unavailable and I never gave consent to any of the charges. Very inexperienced staff with little to no knowledge in running a hotel.1 front desk clerk would smoke pot just outside the lobby then behave inappropriately, acting like a teenager. This same staff person told me the hotel charges a little every day hence the incidental charges which is not true, when you pay in advance using debit through Booking.com

The rude and lazy staff ,not all were The fact they knew that many of the rooms had no hot water yet they continued to book and reserve rooms and did not mention to any quests that they were having hot water issues and the blatant disregard charging my bank account and other guests accounts without consent.

They never came and cleaned the room, and the room was dirty on arrival with hardly no staff on a weekend.

I always enjoy our stay there. We stay often when in plattsburgh

We were given keys to a room that had not been cleaned. Bed unmade garbage still there. But was give a new room which was nice. Told the attendant in food area something wrong with waffle mix. Never responded and was the same the second morning
