The location is good.

There was hair on the floor of the shower and the entire floor in the bathroom was wet after taking a shower. There were stains on the comforter that was on the bed and trash under the bed. Also the hot water in the bathroom sink would not get hot. We were really disappointed with our stay.

I like the veranda.

Service. The room was not yet ready when we arrived and it was already time for check-in. They said sorry about it and told us that the reason why it is not ready yet is because they have new housekeeping staff and that they are still training. They told us that they need to clean the room first and asked us to give them 30mins. We agreed because we didn't have a choice. We were able to check-in at 4:15PM which is late. Another thing is that we were supposed to check-in at 3:00PM because it's the time indicated on Booking.com only to find out that the time of check-in is at 4:00. We were really disappointed. That was the first time we experienced an awful service from a Holiday Inn branch.

Room floors are so dirty and sticky my clean feet and socks only lasted seconds. Checkin was two hours past checkin time while they "cleaned" the room. Pillows are flat and old. Pool is empty and out of order with no signs of being functional in the near future. Construction next door starts at 6:30 am. Breakfast lady was very nice and helpful. Staff is friendly, but they are doing the best they can. Good location on the harbor walkway with marina views. Next door to good restaurant. Would not stay again.

Very clean room and very friendly staff. Air worked fantastic too! All too often, the air is not great in rooms elsewhere. Pleasant experience!

I rarely write bad reviews, but I was so disappointed in this stay and the state of this property that I just had to say something. When we checked in (around 4:30 pm) we were told that they no longer had the type of room I booked (king suite) and that they only had queen rooms left. They couldn’t explain how that happened, other than their 3rd party bookers overselling the rooms (I booked directly with IHG). I had no choice but to accept what they were offering. Unfortunately, the room was just plain nasty. Our shoes stuck to the floor and carpet. The rooms have wall unit air conditioners that work hard to cool but do nothing for humidity. Consequently, the room smelled like a gym locker room. The shower had built up grime in the corners and moldy caulk. I can only imagine this was a result of superficial cleaning over the years and constant humidity in the room. I wouldn’t walk across the floor barefoot, but my husband isn’t as squeamish as me, and his feet were almost black on the bottom. The one highlight was breakfast. The breakfast room was bright, sunny and clean with plenty of tables overlooking the marina. The breakfast room hostess was friendly and cheerful and did a wonderful job of keeping items stocked and tables clean. In general, I can’t recommend this property. I know I won’t be back.
