The staff was amazing! They were friendly and helpful. They took great care of us. The place needs updating, but it was clean. The breakfast was over the top!

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. I booked a room for Saturday night through a third-party site, and my experience was absolutely unacceptable. When I arrived, the first room I was given had severe mold and mildew damage—the kind of condition that is a health hazard, not something you expect at a Holiday Inn Express. I returned to the desk and was assigned a second room. When I opened the door, there were candy wrappers on the floor, the bed was unmade, and it was clearly already occupied. When I went back down again, the front desk staff insisted the room wasn’t occupied and offered to “just change the sheets.” That is not a solution, nor is it anywhere close to proper cleaning or sanitizing a guest room. At that point, I asked for a refund. I was told I had to go through my booking site. After filing with the third party, they reached out to the hotel and the hotel refused to issue a refund. In the end, I was left without a safe, clean room to stay in, and the hotel kept my money. I was forced the find another location to stay. Brittany and Lori, both employees at this location, told me flat out that they do not issue refunds—even though I never stayed at the hotel and was not provided the service I paid for. My booking site even reached out on my behalf, but the hotel still refused to refund me. This is completely unprofessional, unsanitary, and dishonest. The hotel failed to provide what I paid for and essentially stole from me. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location.

Zero Stars – They Stole Our Money My wife booked a room here well in advance, and what she walked into was beyond unacceptable. The first room was moldy and disgusting. She asked to switch, and unbelievably, they put her in another room that appeared to already be occupied — there was food on the floor and the bed had clearly been slept in. After denying that room, she told them she would just leave and find a different hotel. Instead of making it right, they refused to refund her. They kept the money for a room she could not stay in — theft, plain and simple. To make matters worse, a friend of ours who was also staying there that same night reported that someone else was given a key to her room. Another guest tried to come in while she was inside. Luckily, she had the extra lock engaged or it could have been much worse. This place is filthy, unsafe, and poorly managed. They take your money, fail to provide even basic standards of cleanliness, and then put guests at risk by handing out room keys to strangers. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs. There are plenty of other options nearby that won’t treat paying guests this way.
