DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Medical Center Hotel & Suites

Armando, maids and front desk staff were excellent. I saw someone quickly helping with crowd control during checkin and maintenance came quickly to fix/ check our thermostat. Great atmosphere.

We stayed here while my elderly father was receiving treatment for cancer at MD Anderson. We will not stay here again. There is not enough parking. We returned from a long day at the hospital to find no parking anywhere, except for places blocked by cones. We went inside to ask and were told that we couldn’t park there because it was reserved for oversized vehicles (Rodeo visitors), and we would have to go to the 4th or 5th floor of the parking garage at the hotel next door. I explained that we had been up since 4 am and at the hospital all day, and the hotel employee said, “I’m sorry” and quickly walked away. Since they give preference to rodeo visitors over cancer patients, I do not recommend staying here if you are a patient expecting parking. We even had a handicapped tag! .

I liked the room although it wasn’t the room I reserved and was told it wasn’t ready yet after 6 PM.

I didn’t like that I booked a specific suite and paid extra for a $50 dollar credit that I never received because the receptionist had to make adjustments since my room wasn’t available. Plus I called for room service numerous times and no one ever answered.

Location to NRG Center

Price and the elevators didn’t work half the time kids got stuck in one for a while.

円安、米国の物価高もあるが、１泊が東横インの1週間分と同じ価格とは、驚き。朝食、アメニティもなし、照明も壊れていて、シャワーの水圧低くく、ネットも遅い、空調の温度調整も荒い。

Armando, who was at the bartender was very good handling our bar and food needs in the lobby bar. He deserves a raise.

Roudy has been a great driver and has helped tremendously with getting me to my appointments via shuttle bus. He’s very punctual and has been a great help. Thanks!

Great hotel - great people at the reception - Rowdy and Sam, the shuttle drivers, are especially amazing people and assets to the experience that on their own set this hotel apart - when we’re here again for short visits at MDACC, this will be our choice -
