Carradoc Hall Hotel & Conference Center by The Red Collection

The property is a dump and poorly maintained. The pictures on the web site are totally deceiving. We requested a handicapped accessible room. The downstairs entrance to the property had a broken sidewalk, was uneven, and did not have an Accessible exterior door. We could have used the main entrance but our accessible room was directly outside the downstairs door. I would think that entrance would be accessible too. No privacy curtains on the window despite us being next to the parking lot entrance. Our room smelly damp and musty. The hotel luggage cart was old and stained. The room was dismal and had holes in the walls. The lampshades were stained and misshapened. The bathroom did have a tub seat and bars. The paint was peeling in the bathtub. The Kleenex contain was rusty. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he would not be available until the following day. I asked for extra coffee for our room. I was told it was only available from housekeeping and they were gone for the night. The only reasons we stayed that night was because the sheets, sink and toilet were clean and we had just finished an 8 hour drive. In addition, we needed the pool for my husband’s exercise. Very rundown property. Don’t stay if you have a family

It was for most of the late clean however this hotel is super old! Our room smelled terribly, the ac barely worked. Just old all around. Breakfast buffet was very limited. After breakfast they had a religious ceremony you could hear all over the first floor and it was super uncomfortable. Staff was ok.

The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The only real problem was entering the hotel grounds from the highway and exiting for exiting. There was no real acceleration lane, and it seemed very dangerous. I like the self serve breakfast The laundry was on almost almost impossible to use because of all the steps it took to get approval. When we entered the room, we noticed that one side of the bed. The floor was dirty and obviously hadn’t been cleaned. We asked that that be done, but it was never done. We asked for an additional towel and we never got it. Would you recommend this to someone else no.

Absolutely filthy room conditions. GM did not return any emails or calls. Horrible sanitation here, from old food from previous guests, dirty towels, and broken floor boards it was horrific.

First impression was good, front desk ckerk was very helpful, respectful and all the information was given clearly. Once we got in the room, it had a humidity smell very strong. There were almost nonexistent room service personnel, but when we ordered extra shampoo and soap, it was delivered quickly. Breakfast was good. I most definitely will stay somewhere else in my next trip and then I will compare. I guess that for the price I paid that was the normal.

Room had ants (discovered in morning,on the bed!), a torn bed comforter, 2 roaches and no room darkening curtains,only sheers. Manager stated I would have to go through Expedia concerning a comp or other reconciliation. Pictures were taken and shown to management. Rooms were changed for night#2. Upon checkout,no luggage carrier rack to be found. Typical comp breakfast served from a side room off the bar which I never would have seen had I not searched the entire conference center for a non existent luggage rack. Whether you book through a hotel or a third party,the hotel should immediately compensate such poor service. Clear understanding why rates were low

Nothing to like. No bathroom shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Bathroom outlet inoperable. Bath tub drain was clogged. Two Barking dogs! Food bad. Bed was ok.
