Quality Inn Beckley

The location was great. The room was less than par, don’t understand how Choice Hotels International is associated. The hotel room needs to be completely renovated. Was very uncomfortable with the room being the condition we were presented. The staff were great and the breakfast was good. The only thing comfortable was the bed. The price was too high for what we received.

The property was easy to get to from the highway. It was clean.

It was very old. The room decor was outdated. Carpet could have used a good cleaning and I’m pretty sure there was a line of mold where the ceiling met the wall. The bed slanted down at the headboard and felt lumpy. The pillows were fluffy but went flat quickly. I request a couple more pillows from the front desk but they don’t have any available. So sleeping wasn’t comfortable.

Everything was good but the last two stays, the king mattresses were really uncomfortable for my wife. Too hard

We were very pleased with our stay. Sure, the furniture is old and in room coffee maker is lame but the mattress was good, it was clean and quiet and the larger bathroom was nice with plenty of hot water. Internet is weak but the breakfast was outstanding: eggs, both scrambled and hard boiled, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon toast, waffles, and more. A great value. Both front desk people were helpful and pleasant. This is an excellent budget choice.
