Holiday Inn Express and Suites Three Rivers by IHG

Nice stay and a good breakfast. Staff was nice when we checked in late.

The hotel itself was very nice and well maintained. My kids and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast amenities were excellent! The reason I haven't given a higher rating is the unexpected charge of $75 at check-in. I was told that it would be refunded and have yet to see that reflected in my bank. If the refund does come through I will update my review accordingly.

This stay was amazing. Was quiet. Staff were very friendly and polite. Area was clean. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh.

They did not call me. I'm the one that reserved the room for my employee. They did not call me, they just charged. And then they added another night on there without calling me a verifying that it was okay to use my card

I booked here as its close to my work. It was my first time there. Upon entering, the lobby area (late on a Saturday evening) was quite dirty from construction being performed. Checking in was effortlessly done! Desk clerk was very cordial. I began noticing the condition of this hotel upon entering the hallway/elevator. Its far from being new, shiny as i might expect a HI Express to be. Ive stayed many times in this brand before. The room was very poor condition. Such so, i immediately checked for bed bugs and cleanliness, specifically sheets and the bathroom. I found no evidence of bugs. But, areas of the floor between the beds and under the headboard were not vacuumed in some time (debris was clearly seen.) The bathroom was pretty much clean, though below and around the toilet had smudges of some substance, not clean. Inspecting the sheets, one bed had a fitted sheet with major wear visible. I choose not to sleep in that bed. The desk, closet, headboards, etc, were quite old and worn on edges and corners. Very dated looking furniture. I tossed around the idea of leaving and demanding a refund, but because it was late; i was tired after driving a long time in ice and snow... i choose to stay. I hope its evident ive been employed in hotel/resort maintenance for many years in the past. This hotel needs some serious work.

Breakfast food was good. Not always someone at front to help. No bedding in room for fold out bed, had to ask.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very well lite to allow for work.

the employees are really great and helpful!!! in general good price for what you get

BUT I wished the pool would be without algies and foul odor or at least dont advertise; I wished the little thijngs like hooks, door trims etc would be fixed or painted I wished there wouldnt be weed smoking around
