SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Roanoke Rapids I-95

Breakfast was ok.

First room smelled like smoke. Tv did not work.

The king size bed was a welcome after 13 hours on my feet each day. The shower was good and hot and long.

The room had no Kleenex and the office said they didn't receive any in their last shipment. Two drawers in the dresser kept drifting out on their own, making you bump into them. Bathroom door does not latch so it would creep open while you're getting a shower. The hair dryer did not work and office has nothing they can hand you to dry your hair. The breakfast was inedible. Slimy mushy sausage, and eggs that looked like and taste like they were made of plastic. There was milk in the refrigerator that was no more than a quart in a gallon jug, it ran out quickly. The refrigerator door said it had yogurt and other supplies and it had none. There was no decaf coffee until I asked for it and then had to wait for it to brew. The grab handle in the bathroom at the tub had soap on it like it was not wiped down. Behind the table under the light was a package wrapper on the floor .I don't know from what because I wouldn't touch it. There was an ethernet cable on the desk that the connector was broken off and the eight wires were sticking up in the air, the room did not have a phone so maybe it plugged into there. I don't know. Be electrical Outlet behind the little table under the lamps is falling out of the wall making it dangerous to pull your plug out.

Great location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was limited—eggs were premade and cold. No yogurt. No one in the kitchen to ask for help.

Toilet was running unless the handle was jiggled. Pool was not open, and water seen from our room was very dirty.

Unclean, no body wash, no towels, no tissues, cheap breakfast...limited options

The room needed updates, plus the maintenance team was remodeling the rooms until 11:30 pm. Did ask for the joining room, got it, and people next door was up til 1am. This was our halfway point to home, which we still had 11 hours to go, so our 9 hour sleep ended up a 3 hours.
