Dirtiest hotel I've ever been in and I've stayed at some really interesting places so this says a lot

Convenience, Staff was Pleasant, Beds were comfortable.

Stained bedding, pool water was HOT, roaches around front entrance which wasn't noticed until several hours after checking in. Lady hanging in Lobby for hours and walking around barefoot, maybe she lived there idk.

Comfortable beds. Nice size room for the dollar.

In room coffee pot did not work, hair dryer did not work. Had to request rubber mat for bathtub shower as the bottom of the tub was very slippery. Small things,, but having these things would definitely improve the room value.

Friendly front desk staff. No elevator. Carpets felt dirty. Stayed 1 night for work.

Staff was awesome and very helpful. They made sure we were taken care off!

Called front desk 3 days straight for non-working refrigerator in room. Told each time that a work order was oit in, but noone showed up. Beds too hard and too high - not recommended for elderly guests.

Location was good for our purpose.

We killed a roach in our room. When we called the front desk they said they didn’t have another room. So I asked for some bug spray. They called back and said the only thing they had was flying bug spray. I declined. Cleaning staff literally screaming back and forth to each other while cleaning. Crazy loud. Breakfast was waffles, stale cereal, and yogurt. Nothing else like bread or muffin and no fruit, not even a banana. Food all over the floor near the breakfast room and up the steps. No elevator.

This was my first and last time staying at this location. The structure is old. The common areas are dirty and raggedy. The carpet on the floors is disgusting. The walls and doors are scratched up terribly. Surprisingly, the room wasn't as bad, though the heating/cooling unit could use a really good wiping down. The bed was nice and comfortable, and it worked for the two nights that I stayed. But first impressions are everything and when I walked in, I knew that it was a sub-par hotel. I used the community bathroom before I checked in because we'd had a long drive, and it was nasty. Beware if you have accessibility issues. Make sure you request an accessible room on the first floor, because THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR!! So be prepared to climb stairs if you're on the second floor. And for heaven's sake, please update or replace the driver's license reader at the front desk. It took us almost 30 minutes to check in because the clerk couldn't get the driver's license reader to work. It was raining the morning we left and the lobby smelled like mildew.
