Checked in late at night. Front desk worker was fantastic! The room had some issues but we were too tired to deal with it. Stains on the bedspread and floor, and the toilet seat was loose enough it moved a full inch, not a stable at all. Room had a stale old smell. On the flip side, the bed was cozy, the water pressure, breakfast was tasty and service workers were friendly. Didn’t feel like it was worth the amount we paid.

My room stunk. I expected something nicer at this price point. This was just a basic rundown holiday inn express on the edge of a basic rundown town. I wouldn’t pay the premium to stay here again.

We enjoyed our time here in Raton. Property was weird to access. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of items. Quiet even though it’s not far off the freeway.
