The view! I’m all about the beachfront and view

It was too crammed and too small. Also the furniture in the sitting room needs a revamp. A proper coffee table, a well sized tv and a tv stand and a rug . The tv stand is old and peeling. The aesthetics are everything in a holiday apartment. So when they are below par it dampens the mood. They don’t even need to do much.

The view

The location couldn't have been better. Stunning views towards Table Mountain. You could clearly see the kite surfers which was amazing to watch. Apartment small but quite adequate and very light and airy. Landlord very accommodating and easy to get hold of. Staff very friendly.

Location and views of ocean

The booking was for a week with no service. It was not cleaned, the bin was not emptied daily, we had to sit with litter the whole week. There was no change in towels despite asking for this. No change in linen. The sliding door was stuck to balcony. If they can add service and maintain the unit, this would have been great stay.

The view and location is brilliant

Access to the property was a big issue, there were no remotes so we had to call the agent every time we wanted to get the gate opened, even the code for building access kept on failing. The agent everytime answered and helped but it is not nice having to do this the whole time. The apartment needs some maintanance, a lot of broken items that needs repair or replacement. One expect these things to be in order in this price range.

The place was not clean, it was dusty and stuffy. On our first day when we checked in we were told to collect a key inside the white box next to the entrance, which we believed it was safe. On the day before my birthday I decided to go to Table Mountain with my other friends which I was not sharing a room with and the person I was sharing a room decided to go to strawberry picking with her friends.We decided to leave the key inside that white box since we will be doing different activities on that day, we left around 16:00 a.m when I came back it was around 20: 00 p.m when I got there the key wasn’t inside that box I called the agent, I left couples of messages none of the massage were replied I had to sleep inside a car then in the morning I contacted the agent imagine he had to return my call the next day around 09:30 a.m telling me that he doesn’t not have the spare key and the owner of the apartment will come to us to give us the spare around 14 p.m, imagine the owner decided to come around 15:00 to give us the key mind you is my birthday I didn’t bath, not brash my teeth. We requested a cctv footage from this white lady she showed us that the key was taken by this other white lady and the camera doesn’t not show which room she went to since their cameras installed only monitor till the lift . Then we’re told if should it happen that they don’t get hold of the key we have to pay R2500.00 for the remote key Fortunately for us the key was taken by a while lady and the owner said she doesn’t look like a thief so surely they will able to get the key. This was my worst experience ever

Nothing

Very terrible place to stay at, it’s old and expensive for nothing. The access process is whack, one has to call “everytime” you need to go in an out of the place. It should be kept as an apartment and not for business. We stayed a gate for an hour on two occasions for them to open for us.

No facilities

We have problems with the key and to get in at the entrance should be sorted out

No breakfast included

The bathroom had a foul smell. I had to keep the door shut and put towels at the bottom of the door to prevent the odour from coming through. I did report to owner who said he would attend to it. Also the front door does not lock .. only the security gate which is flimsy and can be easlilty opened. I pushed furniture against the door at night. Not a good feeling.
