The check in area was in good shape and the staff was super friendly. The pool area was average to good. However, when it came to the quality of the room, this property failed horribly. The tile floor in the entry and bathroom was cracked and falling apart. The orange carpet gave it an old, dirty feeling. There was a place on the bathroom wall where something had previously hung with fading and wall studs still present. The lack of electronic plug ins for a “high” quality hotel was lacking. The bathroom fan continually stayed “on” and the sensor light flickered. You could tell around the bathroom fan that in the past something had gone on with brown spots, water perhaps. It just felt like the room given was the last, run down room in the hotel. For the price paid, and Holiday Inn’s reputation, I really expected more and was disappointed.

Very nice place to stay. Staff is great and it’s close to a lot of shopping and food. Quiet place to stay.

Fun pool water features (mini great wolf lodge?), room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was good (lots of options)
