Great people, clean, efficient

Big beautiful room.

My room was not cleaned so I went to the front desk to ask for clean towels. The desk attendant was having a casual conversation with the person in front of me so I just went up to my room. I called down to the front desk and asked for towels. She told me she was too busy and gave a bunch of excuses. I said “This is ridiculous” and hung up the phone. A few minutes later I hear a knock at my door and it’s her and another hotel employee. She has towels in hand and after I opened the door she put her foot on the door way to ensure I couldn’t close it. She was visibly angry. She handed me the towels and said no one speaks to her that way and demanded I apologize. I was so taken aback I didn’t even say anything. She again demanded I apologize or I would be kicked out of the hotel. I said I wouldn’t and eventually she removed her foot and left. After a few more minutes I get another knock on the door and it was the police. She had told them that I was cussing and screaming at her on the phone and that I had thrown the towels she gave me back into the hallway. Both lies. They further informed me that under Montana state law I could be kicked out of this hotel at any time for no reason at all. My guess is given how quickly she was to threaten kicking me out this is an oft used tactic for this hotel. To be treated the way I was by the staff and to have to police called on me for saying “This is ridiculous” is beyond ridiculous. It’s utterly disgusting. For this hotel to hide behind state law to justify their appalling lack of customer service is abhorrent. I was also informed that the woman I dealt with is a manager. These are the kind of quick to anger and unreasonable individuals running this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! If you’re forced to do so, under no circumstances should you complain to staff. As was my experience, at very least, the police will be called and you will be threaded with removal. If not actually removed. I did not deserve to be treated that way for simply wanting me room to be cleaned and clean towels. This is beyond the pale.

Breakfast was good. I think instead of pancakes they should switch to waffles!

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is remodeling going on so there was some debris on the floors. Hot tub is hot, but jets aren't great.
