Siamo arrivati tardi e dopo il check-in siamo corsi in piscina e al ristorante (prima che chiudesse). Tornati in stanza ormai alle 22.30 ci siamo resi conto che la pulizia era insufficiente: Peli e capelli ovunque: sulla scrivania, sul pavimento del bagno, nel lavandino e in doccia…c’erano addirittura delle lenti a contatto sul comodino! Le fotografie parlano da sole. Indubbiamente il prezzo che abbiamo pagato non vale la cura e la pulizia della stanza.

I loved the pool, dining, and the service from the staff. The breakfast was amazing and the poolside bar was a highlight! Plane watching is amazing, but sometimes a little loud late into the evening. The hotel is removed from Corfu Town, which is a plus for the quieter neighborhood, but requires careful planning to arrange transportation around the island.

The power in my room went out one of the mornings with a loud popping noise, and it wasn’t fixed until the afternoon. The service was prompt and friendly, but the fact that it happened was upsetting and scary.

Pool was good

Unfortunately, my stay at Divani Corfu Palace was very disappointing. The room felt old and poorly maintained. There was a spider web on the ceiling, the furniture was outdated, and when I raised issues, nobody seemed interested in fixing them or helping properly. The attitude at reception was one of the worst parts of the stay. The staff were rude, arrogant, and made me feel very unwelcome as a foreign guest. They also did not seem to clearly know or apply the hotel’s own rules and benefits. The hotel has been part of the Aegean Miles+Bonus programme since 2013, but I did not receive miles, and I was also refused a free late check-out until 16:00. Instead, I was told to leave the room at exactly 11:00 or move to the swimming pool. The food at the à la carte restaurant was also very poor. The salad had frozen mozzarella, and the burger was overcooked and swimming in mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. It was not acceptable for a hotel of this level. Overall, the hotel gives the impression of being outdated, badly managed, and not guest-oriented. I expected much better service, especially from a hotel connected with a recognised loyalty programme.
