Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St Louis Chesterfield

It was much nicer than the first time we went and stayed at a different hotel. The grandkids loved the pool

Stayed only one night, rainy night. There was water that was running out of the gutters going into the roof - we were in 2nd floor right above the dining area, and there is a small metal roof in front of the room. We had to hear basically till past midnight the water going off the gutters falling right into the metal roof - annoying. We got around 4pm and the first thing we noticed in the room was that noise, but we didn't mind since it was during the day... Wrong! We should've asked to be changed. Get that fixed for other guests, it's really annoying.

Good. Parking lot construction was only downside. Good breakfast was included.

There is construction but it didn’t affect any part of the experience. Rooms were beautiful and clean, softest bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel, very nice blankets. Layout of the room was nice. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good.

Check in was a breeze. At the front desk Noah was very friendly and helpful. Gave us extra towels and wash clothes when we asked. Helped us with plates and napkins when we ordered in pizza for our group and ate it in the lobby. The kids had a great time in the pool. The pool was clean, the water was warm and there were plenty of towels for everyone. Our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Parking got a bit full because they have construction going on so some of the parking lot wasn’t available but other than that our stay was great!

Carla at the front desk was nice, she tried her best to rectify the situation that Fairfield Inn put us in.

My room was “double booked” even though I created my reservation a full month before my check in date. Not only was it double booked, I wasn’t notified of this until 9:55 PM when my check in time was 10 PM. Furthermore the mode of which I was notified was by EMAIL. We drove from three and a half hours away for a surgery that was the very next morning. The only good thing that came from being on this property was how apologetic Carla at the front desk was. Obviously this is UNACCEPTABLE. The Marriott chain of hotels, or any other service they offer will not have my business ever again. Not that that will probably even matter to the individuals that operate this company but I’ll state it anyway.

We were staying for just a short getaway but we enjoyed our time at the Fairfield Inn. There is some construction going on and half the parking lot was blocked off. That was a bit of a nightmare to find a parking spot but everything else was great!
