Studio 6 Suites Shreveport, LA Industrial Loop

Rooms are absolute trash. Although my complaints were addressed and a different room was offered, the one I chose was acceptable but not better over all. I’ve never seen or stayed in a Studio 6 this bad so it was a shock to see it in such bad conditions. The owners clearly do not wish to renovate nor attempt to make it any better for future customers. This place should be a last option stay at the very least.

Last night we stayed in a Studio 6 in north Pensacola. Was nicely remodeled, clean, just wonderful. Well. This one , the room we were in, should have been condemn! Filthy, sink was broken and water ran on floor . Needs a ton of work... yuck

It was ok

PROS: The property is in a great location and close to a couple gas/convenience stores and the highway. The guy that checked us in was pleasant and quick to get our room. There is a laundry area (low cost) with an ATM (don't know the fee). Plenty of parking. A nice camper fridge and microwave in the room. The restroom was clean... not immaculate but clean. The bed is decently comfortable. Haven't seen any bugs (yet).

CONS: We were given room 239. The door latch is broken off. The door strike plate is covering an area of the facing that looks like the door was kicked in, so I'm not sure just how sturdy it is. There are 2 metal light fixtures that don't work but are collecting dust. There's dust over the headboard. So I pray for your allergies. 2 of the 3 lamps didn't work. There's a plastic covering over the smoke detector (safety hazard). The vent in the restroom has no covering and is dusty. While I stated earlier that the restroom was clean... the walls of the shower weren't washed down... you could see the dirty prints of a hand on a couple of areas, but the toilet, walls, and floor were all clean. The quilt was definitely not washed or changed from the last guest because there was sauce (hot sauce) on it that you can scratch off with your fingernail.... this was my biggest CON because it makes me feel like they aren't washing the covers between guests. But as I stated at the beginning... you get what you pay for. So do not expect luxury or sanitary.

rented a room here with my girlfriend, somehow her child's father came here went to the front desk and got. The manager to give him a key to my room then proceeded to unlock and enter the room, lucky we had the chain locked, I called front desk to call the police to get him to leave. After he was gone I requested a different room for safety reasons, I was denied, I ended up having to go to another hotel and paying for a room for the night, I want a refund please for this room, thank you
