I was putting my personal items in the room & letting my dog (that was NOT staying with me) out for fresh air because she threw up from being car sick. I barely put the key in the door with the dog in my hands & heard a man yelling loudly ma’am ma’am ma’am and literally right on my back. I said YES? He said I asked if you had an animal & I said yes but she isnt staying. I explained I was putting my personals in the room & taking her to my mom’s house across the street. He stated I should have told him the dog would be in there for a few minutes but if he was listening he would have heard me say the dog was NOT & I was putting my personals in there. I never stepped one toe in the room. NOT ONE. I closed the door & went to the office to show the man my dogs throw up & why she was in my arms & demanded a refund; that I was given. I came to the Edgewood Red Roof in with NO PROBLEMS.

It was a place to rest my head for a few hours before an early day.

The room was clean, however it smelled like stale cigarettes and dirty ashtrays. The toilet kept running all night and the flusher on the toilet was very loose. The garbage pails around the facility were all overflowing with trash as well.
