Red Oak Inn Detroit - Southfield

When we went to the room the door opened a few inches because the door latch was on and someone was sleeping in the bed. Got another room and the door was open so we were given a 3rd room. The 3rd room had no linen or toilet paper. The heat nor the tv would work. Stains on the bedding and pillows and smelled like smoke.

Well my state wasn't that amazing when I got there I was trying to book the hotel and it wouldn't look at first on hotels.com and so but I can say is that she price matched which will probably the only thing that she did good her mouth was very bad meaning she didn't not have very good verbiage or language skills she was very smart and had an attitude about having to price match my colleague asked if the ice machine worked and she told him no it didn't and can he read he's looking there at the time and going to ask her did the machine work and he asked her again like well do you have some ice and she replied I have crystal meth but I don't have regular ice and she started laughing and I didn't take that as a joke I really was offended that she even said that because that is not being business like nor informative nor conservative and so I feel very uncomfortable after that we get into the room and once we are in the room we look at the sink and the cleanliness of the room the sink had hair follicles or cut up pieces of hair that look like somebody had shaved in a sink and did not clean it there were no towels there were no trash cans there were no rolls of tissue nor Kleenex the beds were made up nicely but the floors were nasty and it smelled like someone had had sex in the room before we got there and she said she would not switch our room when I explained that to her and I also asked the front desk lady could we get towels and she claimed to me that she only had one.

Room wasn’t fully clean, missing tissue, remote, wash towels, and tv wasn’t plugged up correctly.

It was bad. I had to switch rooms 2wice, the 1st room was not clean and the microwave looked like it caught on fire, tha tub was dirty, the sheets were dirty and the phone cord was cut. The second room was netter but still bad. Sheets also dirty, I seen 2 roaches, and nothing had actually been cleaned. Ill never stay there again.

Nothing about this property I liked except it was peaceful and the staff was nice and the bed had clean linen and comfortable. Wanted a room on the 2nd floor but the elevator was not working. No microwave, floors haven't been swept or mopped in weeks. The stench of old cigarettes, liquor and funky feet filled the room. 1Tub was dirty and had hair in it. There is a huge hole in the wall where the sink'I s plumbing is located. I bought cleaning supplies and a broom to clean room because they wouldn't do a refund. My worst stay using expedia. I don't usually read reviews but I will be reading them from here on out!!!!!!

They have roaches. In they don’t give you towel or anything and I had to get switch to two other rooms

There was literally blood in the sink and bath tub. Room did not have towels. Roaches were dead in the min Fridge. The sheets were dirty. I slept in a chair

I liked it better when it was the RED ROOF INN. I had to switch rooms due to dirty pillow case, and no remote for the TV. Thr second room i got was no better; obvious hair left in the shower and sink counter, dirty carpet, obvious broken parts to the room. Just overall nasty interior. Definitely will not be going back. However, the staff was friendly and they made it very easy to switchs rooms.

Not so good, bed was broken , mattress was sunkin in at the top , bathroom was dirty towels had grease marks, paint was chipping on walls ,carpet was moist and dirty microwave was missing the turn table I side,fridge wasn't cold, however person at check in was friendly, would not stay here again pictures from online didn't look like the room I was in at all.. just dirty
