Mold was all over the bedroom ceiling and in the bathroom. Bed bugs and dirty sheets. Management said he could not give us a comp, however, he’ll take $10 off the room. Needless to say, we left and had to take my granddaughter to DUKE ER. We saw housekeeping take the clean sheets out of the dryer and place them on the dirty laundry room floor to be folded. The Indians work front desk, housekeeping and maintenance. The family lives at the property on the 3rd floor in the corner by the steps. THIS MOTEL, BECAUSE IT’S DEFINITELY NOT A HOTEL NEEDS TO HAVE RED ROOF INN POP IN AND DO AN INSPECTION. These Indians DO NOT need to hold THE RED ROOF INN as a franchise!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY AT RED ROOF INN DURHAM,NC RTP.

Consider cleaning the walls and door of bathroom as there’s residue of an unknown substance in there. Clean or replace the tub so that no paint is in it. Change the curtains so that visitors don’t have a ripped up one to come in to. Check and fix each outlet that doesn’t work for plugs or USB cords. Otherwise, fair experience with staff from check-in to check out.

"I didn't stay there, it is a terrible place to."

Nothing

I couldn't stay there. I had to cancel my reservation as soon as I got there, because the place stank to Marijuana. Someone was smoking Marijuana inside the room next door, I saw the smoke coming out through the window. I went to the office to complain about it but the person there just told me that he would give me another room. I just ask him if he would stay in a place like that with his wife. And he couldn't answer my question. So I canceled my reservation and went to a better place. I think it wouldn't be fair if they charge me any fee for the cancelation due to the situation.
