Motel 6-Rocky Mount, NC

I didn't like anything about the establishment. The manager was very rude, I would not be spending my money with them anymore because the ice machine doesn't work.

Me and my fiance were in room 303 where there wasn't any hot water at all. He told us to run the water for 5 minutes and we have been running the water since we noticed it wasn't getting hot and that was for 1 hour both shower and sink. When we got back from our date we went to complain again that there wasn't any hot water could we get another room. So the other man at the front desk came up to the room to see what we were talking about he said the water was fine and he even notified the manger cause he walked out of a room waiting at his door when we got off the elevator. My fiance asked if we could get another room the other night. The guard said he would go check the rooms to see if it was the same but didn't want us to go check the room out with him to see if it was to our liking he just came back and told us it was all the same. When we went to pay for another night the manager was so rude saying if we pay we couldn't get another room and that he was the manager and his rules apply. This hotel room is not up to the health code they have roaches in the lobby area and the room. The steps and the elevator smell like mildew but because we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I would no longer give my money to this hotel and the health department needs to give this hotel a stop. I have a family member in the health department I will sure tell them how my visit was.

The room temperature was on 60 when I first got in the room. When you turn the heat on the ROACHES come out to roam. I woke up to roaches everywhere. The walls, the floors, the dresser, MY CLOTHES (which I had to shake violently, roaches fell off of each item). I’m itching just thinking about it. I couldn’t even use the bathroom before I left —it pissed me off so bad the amount of roaches. Checked out at 8 before check out.
