Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Washington DC - Manassas

Location was good, room was clean, but could use some repairs.

Stairs were dark and in need of cleaning. Trash cans were full and had bees flying around them.

Amazing! The room is clean and the night was quiet and feel safe.

Pros: Room was updated and clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Price was right.

Cons: Very little parking. No way to have a bath, as they changed the plumbing hotel-wide recently, and the update didn’t include a way to plug the drain.

I question any high ratings this property has gotten. At check-in the front desk staff looked truly confused to find out I had a reservation there. First red flag! Rooms next to ours had garbage outside and looked like some fills after living there with bbq grill and lawn chairs and all outside on the grass. The door to our room looked like it had been kicked off the hinges at least once. The interior did look recently renovated/repainted but there was dried projectile vomit on top of the new paint on one wall (we didn’t notice until after getting ready for bed or we would have left immediately). The toilet would sound like it flushed but not take anything down without multiple repeats. Scratches on fridge and dresser made it look like someone’s dog had been loose there. As soon as we left in the morning I contacted Expedia to request an investigation into the possibility of several 10/10 reviews possibly being fraudulent/paid for to artificially raise the rating. Do not stay here!!!

Room was super clean and exactly what we needed for a night in this area.
