Red Roof Inn Lompoc

Grateful we had somewhere to stay.

To start, house keeing had forgotten to put pillow covers on 2 pillows, since there are no phones in room, had to go to office to get some. Then, I tried to adjust fridge as we had been doing at all the other motel/hotels we stayed. I turned the wrong way n accidentally turned it off, realizing my mistake immediately turned it back on, but it still caused it to start defrosting. My husband found out when he stepped into puddle of water in his socks. Last, we came back late from Casino n found ourselves with no parking. 🤨 completely full. Talked to security, allowed to park in a no parking spot if we moved vehicle very early, which we did.

1st - got my key card (room was on the front side) & there was a black man on the 2nd bed & it smelled heavy of cigarette smoke (which is suppose to be smoke-free) A homeless man’s bike was right outside the door. They stated that the homeless have a habit of gaining access to he rooms. 2- the clerk took me to the 2nd room (on the backside) as we were walking to the room there were cigarette butts all over the place, a big woman had her door ajar (which is never a good sign). Upon entry I noticed the floor had not been swept and the linen was stained & very dirty. There no way I was going to stay there. I was able to get my money returned so that was a plus but I can believe this place passes for people to be able to stay here. A lot of changes need to be made & this could be a PRIME place to stay. Red Roof Inn surprised me w/ what use to be a prestigious hotel is a dump. Many families might try to get a room here. I’d hate for lil kids to see what this place represents.if I was you I’d look somewhere else.

Not enough towels for two people. No room service for 3 days' Broken Shower. Dirty muddy water in a bathtub. Checked out of hotel early and went to another hotel.

Monica and Heather are so kind! Monica always goes above and beyond for all of the guests I saw her helping others many times. When I needed the tv and bathroom light fixed, Dino was great to help. There is a washer and dryer for guests to use which is so helpful.

The front desk lady was kind and helpful.

The meth heads circling the property, the dirty room, the nonexistent water pressure in the shower. I didn't feel safe staying there. Many loud, disruptive guests.

There was no hanging space for clothes that was disappointing. No coffee on site.

Place had a weird smell. Almost like mildew? Didn't feel super safe. Thin walls. Slept pretty well regardless though. Cheapest place available. Wouldn't stay here alone though.. a bit sketchy
