La Plaza Inn Los Banos

Hotel looked nothing like the pictures, the bathroom desperately needs remodeling, it was dirty and moldy with flies everywhere. Towels were not clean, they were stained and stiff, good thing we carry towels. There was gum stuck on the bed frame, the couch was dirty with stains and no phone inside the room. The only good thing was the working AC and TV but didn't make up for the fact that people were super loud and no one was there to quiet the people down. Will never go back.

Front desk staff was helpful & nice. Sign at check in counter that you have 30 minutes after check in to get a refund if you don’t like your room made me worry a bit. Rooms are pretty large. Good TV with a good selection of movies (including HBO & Cinemax channels). It’s definitely not the hotel for clean freaks or germ phobias ...or people with black lights lol. There were flys alive and dead in the room, stains inside the toilet and bathtub (the Clorox cleaner plus bleach would be a good product for them). No soap to wash up with. Mattress protector was ripped with visible stains as were the sheets. The maids were nice in giving us some soap and additional towels. It was the lowest priced motel though at $50 a night. If you’re looking for cheap and able to deal with these issues it’s fine. Thank goodness the staff was nice as that would have definitely been a make it or break it on this trip.

Dilapidated. Run into the ground. Druggies hanging around. Looks more like a bad residential motel than a supposed "national" chain. Swimming pool non-functional. No water pressure. Really poor. Won't go back.

There was bugs in the bed! It wasn’t just one but a few.

The bathroom has so many bugs crawling on the walls it was so nasty they left the old soap in there on the shower

Desk clerk and housekeeping personnel were polite and friendly, but otherwise, this was a regrettable choice of motels. No towels upon initial check-in; ants in bathroom; bed only partly made; room partly unpainted; former general "repairs" done very poorly; badly in need of tub replacement; walls need small patching; painting, and other repairs; ice machine broken; and, motel guests on both sides of my room were loud and very active into late night and early morning.

The managment is very accommodating nice rooms very clean and quiet. Alot of channels and everything is in walking distance. Will stay here everytime we come to visit family. The management is awesome thank u.

The red roof inn in los banos ca is a excellent place to stay the beds are comfortable and the staff is excellent they were there when you needed something. Managment was also excellent.i would recommend the red roof inn to my friends and family
